Auburn Day and the 32nd Annual Duck Race

Join us for the 2025 Auburn Day and 32nd Annual Duck Race!! It will be on Saturday, September 13th from 10am-3pm on Hooksett Road between Raymond Road and Eaton Hill Road. 

This is a wonderful family event enjoyed by thousands of locals each year. Enjoy great food options, entertainment, shopping with local artisans and authors and, of course, the Duck Race! It is free to attend the event and there is plenty of free parking in the surrounding area.

Purchase your Duck Race tickets at the entrance across from the Griffin Free Public Library or at the corner of Hooksett Road and Eaton Hill Road. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for a “Quack Pack” of five tickets. Duck Race tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20 (quack pack). Prizes are - 1st prize: $1000, 2nd prize: $500, 3rd prize: 250, 4th prize: $100, 5th prize: $50 and 6th through 10th prizes: $25 each.

​The ducks should be launched no later than 2:30 (earlier if all the ducks are sold) and you do not need to be present to win

Boston Post Cane Recipient: The town of Auburn will award the Boston Post Cane to Cecile Fortin who is 100 years old! This will take place at 10am near the band stage, across from the Griffin Free Public Library.


The field behind the Griffin Free Public Library will host several additional attractions at this year's Duck Race. Walk down Author's Alley and see what is happening behind the library. Demonstrators will be exhibiting spinning wool, blacksmithing, making maple syrup, pressing apple cider and pottery making will be available for you to learn from and be amazed. Hope to see you there!

​**Please note that the New Hampshire National Guard/Black Hawk Helicopter has let us know that, unfortunately, they are unable to participate in the event this year**
