March 26, 2020 at 7pm: The Founding Fathers History Presentation, Speaker Richard Hesse

Picture

Prof. Hesse is the Emeritus Professor of Law at the University of New Hampshire School of Law. The talk will be about the 1787 delegates that gathered in Philadelphia to address a variety of crises facing the young United States, leading to the establishment of our Constitution.

The Justices of the Court, our political leaders and even the general public have based the resolution of current legal, social and political problems on the original intent of the founders.

This program examines the conditions of the United States in the 1780’s and whether the delegates’ original intentions should carry great weight in resolving the problems of today.

This event is free and open to the public.
Auburn Historical Association's Business meetings are held at the
AHA museum building in the meeting-room, 102 Hooksett Road, Auburn, NH. We are always looking for volunteers! Please contact us at info@auburnhistorical.org if you are interested in attending our next meeting.
