The Auburn Historical Association will be holding its Auburn Day and 31st Annual Duck Race this year on Sept 14, 2024 from 10am until 3pm! The location is in the Auburn Village near the Griffin Free Public Library on Hooksett Road. Parking is nearby (handicap parking is in front of the Auburn Village School) and the admission is free.
The festivities will begin the night before on Friday, September 13 with an Auburn Fire and Police Parade around town. To view or download the route, click below:

Caroleann Ohannessian and RE/MAX Innovative will sponsor the Tether Hot Air Balloon Rides event (weather permitting). This will take place on Eaton Hill Road across from the Safety Complex from 5:00 – 7:00. Then walk down to the Auburn Village School enjoy some food trucks, live music and fireworks, all sponsored by Auburn Parks and Recreation.

Saturday, September 14th is the 2024 Auburn Day and Duck Race!
Come to the Auburn Village to enjoy local artisans and authors showcasing their work and stop by the booths of Auburn’s non-profit organizations. Expect delicious food offerings from the Fire Department making their sausage subs, the Police Dept cooking up their tasty French fries, the Tower Hill Church with their buttery corn on the cob and a great variety of choices from local Food Trucks.
The public will be able to check out a New Hampshire National Guard Black Hawk helicopter and meet the pilots. The helicopter will make a landing in the field behind the Auburn Village School and will be there from 10am until 1pm.

Performances by Ray Zerkle and the Pinkerton Marching Band will add a musical backdrop to the day’s activities and an Apple Pie Contest and Children's Cookie Baking Contest will offer sweet competition. Miss Cindy's Balloon Animals and a petting farm will keep little ones entertained and a climbing wall will be available for the adventurous.
Visit author’s alley in the library parking lot to meet local writers and enjoy a medieval cooking demonstration by author Allyson Szabo.
Get some advice from some of Auburn’s well-known seniors by visiting the "Ask Wise Guy" (booth 14A, 10:45am) and then the "Ask a Wise Woman" (booth 14A, 11:15am).
Duck Race tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20 (quack pack). Prizes are - 1st prize: $1000, 2nd prize: $500, 3rd prize: 250, 4th prize: $100, 5th prize: $50 and 6th through 10th prizes: $25 each.
This is the AHA's largest fundraiser and a great community event. Parks and Rec will be joining us again this year and we have many exciting activities in the works - we hope you will join us!
