Documenting the Effects of the Covid 19 in Auburn, NH

The Auburn Historical Association is looking for your help. We recognize that this is a unique period of time in our history and would like to document the effect of the Coronavirus in our community.  Any materials obtained will be added to our archives and be available for future historians and the public to read and research.

This is an opportunity for you to become a contributor to Auburn’s history, allowing our children and grandchildren to know what it was like to be living through a global pandemic.

Just a few items we would encourage you to share
  • Original photographs (or short videos) documenting life during the pandemic including signage, empty public areas that are usually busy, the community using “social distancing” practices or any other unusual scenes showing what life was like during the virus
  • Original artwork, stories, drawings, songs or poetry
  • Creative ways you keep in touch while having to be separated from your friends and loved ones.
  • Personal accounts of experiences during the Covid-19 outbreak and how it affected your life.

We encourage community members of all ages to contribute. At this time, due to continued health risks, we will be accepting electronic submissions only. As time goes on, we may reach out to you to obtain original copies and physical artifacts.

By submitting this material, you are accepting the terms allowing the Auburn Historical Association to use all materials and agree that they may possibly be used in future activities such as research, teaching, publications, archiving and display.
Share your contributions by filling out the form below. Thank you for your support of the history of Auburn.

The last names of submissions by individuals younger than 18 will not be included in any research or other publications, exhibitions, or social media
This field is not mandatory but it is useful in our records. We especially would like to record the ages of those under 18.
